There was no doubt in my mind I was going to book Tom and Murray to photograph my wedding and now I have received the photos I’m even more glad I chose them! On the build up the day they were great with any questions I had and responded really quick. They came to look at the venue and discussed at length our plans for the day and photos which were a must have. On the day Tom spent time with the ladies whilst getting ready and Murray sorted out the men, even helping to actually get my now husband dressed! Tom was absolutely brilliant! He was humorous and made everyone feel at ease. Kept reassuring me and asking me how I was, he helped me put my veil in when I forgot it and carried out several other tasks throughout the morning! He really was more like an assistant than a photographer yet he still captured so much from that morning. They both fitted in so well at the wedding, whilst remaining professional was able to have a laugh and made everyone feel so relaxed! Iv just got my photos back and literally felt like I was reliving the day when looking through them. They managed to capture everything and even took good photos of me which isn’t always possible...I would highly recommend this amazing duo to capture your special day!

Well what can I say apart from these two are amazing. They felt like they were part of the wedding party I had Tom at home with me whilst the boys had Murray, people ask why have 2 well looking back at the photos we both said it was so lovely to see what we where getting up to in the morning and they both capture every moment with out you even knowing ... I highly recommend these two they go above and beyond to make sure you have your special day.

I honestly can say that these two guys are the best photographers I've come across. They made our wedding that extra bit special and even helped with a last minute hair drama. They were professional, friendly, funny and made you feel at ease throughout the day. I couldn't recommend them anymore and would give them a higher than 5* rating if possible.

Tom & Murray were amazing. From the moment we met them, they were cheerful and helped us to feel at ease. On top of that, they always went above and beyond and left us with lovely photos to remember the day. On the day, they were perfect and captured all the wedding photos we were looking for, and a load we didn't even know we wanted! The photos are AMAZING, and we can't thank them enough for the wonderful memories. We would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a lovely team of photographers for your wedding day. The way they work together is brilliant and the results are awesome (and they're a good laugh!). I also can't recommend enough, the benefit of having two wedding photographers who work so well together - they don't miss anything! In summary, these guys work brilliantly together, nothing is too big an ask and their photos are perfect.

We wanted our wedding photos to really capture our day but also not be too formal and Tom and Murray did that for us. They were a pleasure to work with in the run up to the wedding and on the day were just brilliant. Friends and family all commented on how great they were- being there at the right moment but not feeling like they were in your face. We are so pleased with our photos and they capture our perfectly and I love looking at them. I couldn't of asked for more. Thank you!

As soon as I met these guys, I just knew they were the right photographers for us.They instantly made us feel at ease and were so much fun our wedding guests loves them. It’s so difficult to summarise in a just a few lines how amazing Tom and Murray are. I was a bridesmaid at a wedding in 2016 and was so impressed with Tom and Murray that when I got engaged shortly after, I didn’t even look around for any other photographers and knew these guys were the ones for our wedding! From the day we enquired about availability through to receiving our final photographs, Tom and Murray were fantastic. They were always really responsive to emails and answered any query we had which completely put us at ease. We trusted Tom and Murray would be able to capture our wedding day and the special moments and had no worries about them fulfilling that role! Tom and Murray felt more like wedding guests than our photographers and from the moment they arrived to both the bridal and grooms party, they never felt intrusive with their cameras and blended in as though they were part of the wedding party… even sewing a bridesmaid into her dress and helping with hair and my veil! Toms bag had an emergency kit that definitely came in use for the bridal party that day! Not to mention the running around to make sure we had everything we needed before leaving for church. Our wedding guests thought Tom and Murray were exactly that, guests! They manage to capture your day without being intrusive or feeling like you have a camera in your face following you around for the day yet manage to capture all the special moments. A wedding gift of a helicopter ride to take us to our wedding venue after our ceremony and Tom and Murray were both in on the surprise, using their experience of weddings to help him ensure he got it just perfectly with timings and photographs and just the way he wanted (even if we did have every season of weather that day!). Both wedding guests and those unable to attend our wedding commented on how amazing our photographs are and in particular how the sneak peak photos and summary of the day really made it feel more special and added that personal...

We loved you guys very much and felt you both thought of everything especially when it came to places and timings. Also the type of shots you took were extra special so we thank you for your professionalism on our special day. It was awesome!!! Thanks again to you both, you will always be thought of very highly and wouldn’t hesitate recommending you both for events in the future.

Tom and Murray photographed our wedding in August 2017. What can we say? They were absolutely amazing from the first contact, to sending us our photos. Tom and Murray were so accommodating to our requests, no ask was too big for them and they made us feel so excited for the day. They were able to discuss the plans with us over email and Skype as we were planning the wedding over 140 miles away from Dorset. On the day itself, even though we hadn’t met them in person beforehand it was like having old friends with us. Tom and Murray made everyone feel so relaxed and made us all laugh a lot. They fitted right in, even some our guests thought they were part of the family. My favourite thing about them as photographers, was they spotted all the small moments (as well as the big moments) that were really special to us. The photos they took were beautiful, we could not be happier with the service they provided and would highly recommend! Thank you Tom and Murray, we are so grateful for all you did to make our day so special.

We chose Tom and Murray to be our wedding photographers as they were the only ones who stood out as being friendly and approachable, it was like we’d been friends for years. That same theme continued on our wedding day, starting with the breakfasts! We barely noticed they were there, yet when needed they always seemed to appear from nowhere. Their relaxed nature shows in the photographs with nothing being staged which was exactly what we wanted, they seemed to be in 4 places at once, capturing moments we hadn’t noticed until we looked through the album. Most of our guests thought they were just guests themselves, they really did blend in and get on with everyone, some even asked who the Ushers were, amazed when we told them that they were the photographers, they would go the extra mile and do literally anything to ensure our day ran smoothly. We would absolutely recommend Tom and Murray to anyone - thank you again for relaxing us when we needed it, and laughing with us as friends.

From the offset, we were treated to a first class service from Tom and Murray that was highly professional, making us feel extremely comfortable. A huge amount of care and consideration went into establishing exactly what we wanted with contact offered as frequent as we required. All our requests were not only accommodated but massively welcomed, no matter how odd we thought these were. Nothing was too much trouble. Our family and friends frequently described having both Tom and Murray around for the weekend as totally charming and appropriate. Many describing them as totally blending into the fabric of the wedding. They achieved again this perfect balance of professionalism with an all important ability of making us and our guests feel at total ease around them. Most importantly, they have delivered exactly what we requested to our brief and also found ways to exceed our expectations. The photos we have, are absolutely exceptional showing the life and soul of our wedding. They were huge fun and engaging to be with and we’ll cherish the memories they’ve helped us keep forever.

I cannot recommend Tom and Murray highly enough, they were perfect in every way. They both have great personalities that fit into any given situation on the day. They really feel more like guests. There was no pressure or rushing and they were even on hand with spare hair clips and scissors when needed. The photos themselves were incredible!! Our day perfectly documented from beginning to end with split moments in time captured for a lifetime. We cannot thank you enough.

These two were fantastic and all our guests have commented on how they really were part of the day. They put everyone at ease and judged each situation perfectly. Grandma thinks they are perfect gentlemen, Best Men have new mates and little sister won’t walk down any steps without Tom’s hand! Truly great at what they do and nothing is too much trouble. It’s probably important to say that Tom is also a dab hand at bridal preparations as well. We were blown away by our pictures, we love them more every time we look at them. Thank you both for capturing our special day and being part of our guest list. If you are looking for laid back photographers, who listen to what you want and deliver that and more then One Thousand Words is for you!

When we first met Tom and Murray we were immediately drawn to them for the fun and friendly attitude and exhibition of gorgeous photos from previous bookings. After some cheeky haggling, we booked them on the spot and organised for a pre-wedding photo-shoot to get to know them a little better before the big day. Neither of us are very good at posing for photos, so the pre-shoot was definitely useful both to get to know the guys and to become more used to being in front of the camera. We spent the whole time chatting away and continued it later with a drink at the Square and Compass - a wonderful pub in Worth Matravers, an excellent way to break the ice. On the day the boys split up, with Tom covering the Bridal party and Murray the groomsmen. This worked really as both were able to spend time making sure they captured the excitement of getting ready. Then came the wedding, it was great that the guys know the venue so well, as they were able to take some awesome shots without being in the way. They made friends with all of our guests and really put everyone at their ease, all we heard from people afterwards was how friendly they were! Throughout the evening they went the extra mile, from helping re-pin stray bits of my hairdo (Murray is particularly good at this), to procuring emergency canapés for me during the photo-shoot, and also arranging the caterers to bring in the uplighters during the speeches. We really couldn’t have asked for more. We are so pleased with our final photos, and cannot wait to order the final album later in the year. We would hugely recommend Tom and Murray for your wedding!

What can I say about these guys, they were exactly what we were looking for. They made us and all our guest so at ease on the day and for that reason we got some great photo we can cherish, Plus all of the guest after the wedding were saying how lovely they were and some even through they were guest just taking photos. As there is the two of them it meant we could also capture both of us getting ready in the morning. Which meant a lot to the bride as she got some photos with her dogs and I got the ones with my best man and usher having a few beers. I have to finish by say ask about the Mary Poppins bag this bag had everything in it you needed for a emergency. Thank you guys for capturing our wedding just the way we wanted it.

Tom and Murray were not just our wedding photographers, they were a genuine part of our wedding day. They are fantastic guys with a great sense of humour and as well as taking truly stunning photos of our wedding they were an absolute joy to be around. They went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble for the pair of them. They are down to earth, genuine and incredibly good at their job. Our guests commented on how professional and friendly they were as well and in particular, I was touched by how they said personal goodbyes to us and our guests at the end of the day. I cannot recommend them enough, they are world-class and I only have good things to say about them both. True gentleman with passion and love for what they do, just brilliant!

We were delighted with the service you provided us. We wanted photographs with a natural and casual look, nothing too stylised, and in keeping with the mood of our wedding. That is precisely what we got. We were so pleased with the photographs. They have a great feel to them and will keep our memories alive for years to come. It was such an amazing day. When you hire your photographer for your wedding day it suddenly dawns on you that they’ll be there for pretty much the entire day and the pressure is on to secure a skilled professional and also someone you like! It was such a relieve and a pleasure that Tom not only captured the best parts of our day in the best way, he also became a Personal Assistant and was a joy to have around! From the first time we spoke to Tom, we instantly clicked and we knew you would do an amazing job for us. The photography was of big importance to us so we could look back on them and remember the special moments that were captured and you really didn’t disappoint. On the day it was only made better having you with the bridal party and capturing pictures of me Paul would never have seen. You only made the memories I have even happier by doing this and capturing Paul eagerly waiting for me at the end of the aisle! On first looking at the photos, we were so moved and it was a very emotional but a happy time looking through them all and we can’t thank you enough.
