Parley Manor Wedding Photos - A Stunning Wedding Morning
We've talked to Lissa and Kieron for 1.5 years about their Parley Manor wedding photos. Their big day seemed to arrive really fast. We arrived at Parley Manor on a wonderfully bright and sunny June morning. As it has been a few years since we have had the pleasure of photographing a Parley Manor wedding, we were keen to see how the venue had changed.
Bridal Preparation Photos At Parley Manor
We found Lissa and her bridesmaids in the Dressing Room – Parley’s very own stylish bridal prep suite. In her own words today was “Round Two”, after Lissa & Kieron’s Hindu wedding day. Everyone was caught up in the happy excited vibes. The girls had planned a perfect wedding morning.
Much to our delight, the Dressing Room had many mirrors. They let us capture all angles of the morning's Parley Manor wedding photos in the small space.
Makeup artist Olivia Sharpe worked her magic in one corner whilst Francesca from Francesca Bridal Hair sculpted wedding hair in the other.
With the morning champagne poured, Lissa busied herself. She next steamed any creases in her stunning dress and veil. She could not stop smiling as the dress glowed in the bright morning light.
Next, the steam treatment for the bridesmaids' green gowns. Followed by a relaxing breakfast in the sunshine.
Lissa then had her wedding hair styled. The bridesmaids gave her a heartfelt letter from Kieron. Typically, this is accompanied with emotional tears. However, Kieron, being Kieron, had included a 'romantic' gift that made everyone laugh. It's the first time we've seen a bride-to-be with a full-face snorkelling mask on her wedding morning!
Gorgeous bouquets of wedding flowers from Simply Flower arrived next. Their floral scent filled the air. The bold, bright colours among the green foliage were a pleasure to see.
The arrival of Lissa’s mother and father indicated that time was getting on. Lissa’s mother was extremely happy to be pampered by an MUA. Especially now that she had a cold glass of champagne in hand.
Next, Matt, a videographer extraordinaire from Forever Captured, arrived. He joined us in covering the morning's wonderful moments.
The beautiful bridesmaids wore lilac dresses. The room filled with color as they had final touches added to their makeup and hair.
Finally, Lissa was helped into dress by her bridesmaids. She looked simply stunning. Her smile was that of a cat that got the cream. Her dress suited her perfectly, even the detailed sleeves.
First Look Photographs
At Parley Manor house, we organised first look photos for Lissa's parents. This let them spend a few moments alone with their daughter before her wedding.
Groom Preparation Photographs In A Dorset Pub
One of the advantages of choosing a wedding photography duo is that our couples receive both bridal and groom preparation photographs taken at the same time in different locations.
Meanwhile, Murray had joined Kieron and the groomsmen. They started their wedding morning in high spirits at The Bear at Burton pub. Ironing and donning suits was the order of activities. Kieron’s red three-piece tweed number matched the deep greens of his groomsmen. Perfect for their Parley Manor wedding photos. With their pocket watches wound and ties tied, they had a pint in the sunny pub garden. They earned it.
The chaps had even gone as far as to add in Lord of The Rings-themed cufflinks as they all love the Tolkien greats. More on LOTR later!
Wedding Arrival At Parley Manor
Arriving early at Parley Manor, Kieron and the chaps greeted the guests in the stunning gardens. A few of whom even had time to enjoy cocktails in the sunshine!
Time flew and they soon had to usher everyone into the wedding Pavilion in time for the ceremony.
Parley Manor Wedding Ceremony Photos
I found Murray in the pavilion. Kieron and the groomsmen waited at the altar. The light space's canvas was punctuated by giant flower sprays hanging from the ceiling. The wedding guests' outfits were in incredible colors.
Despite being married, Keiron seemed a bit nervous. There was definitely anticipation in the air for the arrival of the bride.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen led the bridal party down the aisle of the marquee from the bright gardens. They all had huge grins.
Parley Manor Pavilion was then treated to one of the funniest, most heart-warming wedding ceremonies. Kieron’s best man acted as a celebrant as it turned out he was a natural public speaker and performer.
A Personal Hilarious Wedding Ceremony
We didn’t think it possible but between emotional tears Lissa looked even happier. The ceremony even included a posing portion. Where Lissa and Kieron performed a variety of cheesy poses for the guests’ cameras.
The hilarious ceremony saw the celebrant scare the best men by asking for the rings (which they didn’t have).
The happy couple glowed with love as they stood in front of their nearest and dearest reading their personal vows to each other.
As our Parley Manor wedding photos go Lissa and Kieron had one hell of a ‘first kiss’. They then led their guests out into the stunning sun-baked gardens.
Drinks Reception In The Flower Gardens At Parley Manor
We let the guests greet the happy couple and refresh themselves with cocktails in the sunshine. Before heading straight into group photos. The sun was now at its highest and hottest. So, with an amazingly organized bridesmaid's help, we quickly whipped through the groups.
Couple Photographs In Parley Manor Gardens
Next, we joined the videographers in taking Lissa, Kieron, and the bridal party for a fun shoot in a nearby meadow.
Overwhelming Wedding Marquee Styling
In the walled garden, Lissa and Kieron were asked to inspect the wedding breakfast marquee. The couple were wowed by the styling and decorations. They especially loved the incredible number of flowers hanging from the roof and on the tables. Lissa was overwhelmed. So, we took the happy couple to the front of the house for some quiet time together. Once again, simple direction worked better than awkward posing. A feisty robin even decided to photo-bomb them!
Our Paley Manor couple photos also served as time for the guests to filter into the marquee. Shortly to be joined by their bride and groom. Lissa and Kieron entered to a standing ovation. Guests whirled napkins above their heads.

Photos Of Wedding Speeches In The Marquee
Lissa took the microphone and began the wedding speeches. Almost instantly the crowds ended up crying tears of laughter. Lissa’s father next took the baton, bringing even more tears to all. Kieron's father followed, adding a couple of embarrassing things about him. This saw most of the audience with their heads in their hands.
Bridesmaids and Groomsmens' Speeches
The speeches were then cranked up a notch as two of Lissa’s bridesmaids took to the microphone. They had everyone in stitches. We never realised Lissa was so naughty!
The two best men gave a speech. It was great, thanks to their contrasting senses of humour. By now the guests had been pretty much laughing non-stop for 40 mins.
In a wonderful gesture, Lissa and Keiron hugged the speakers. It left everyone's eyes watery.
Kieron ended the speeches. He thanked everyone and his beautiful new wife.
Wedding Evening Photos At Parley Manor
Teas, coffees, and cakes were served on the lawns.
The smell of Parley Manor’s wood-fired pizza ovens mixed with the happy chatter of the guests. It echoed around the red brick walls.
Wedding Dancing
Back inside the marquee the DJs from Encore Vision & Sound had finished setting up and we chatted about their plan for the night. From the sounds of it the guests were in for a treat for their dancing feet!
Lissa and Kieron took to the wooden dancefloor for their first dance. They swirled about together. Their friends and family watched them closely. They needed little encouragement to join in.
From that moment on the dancefloor absolutely went off. The wedding party showed of their moves as the DJs stirred them into a frenzy with bhangra bangers.
Wedding Sparklers Photographs
The first set finished and the lively guests joined us in the night air for sparklers in the gardens. It wasn’t long before they were all busy dancing again.
Lord Of The Rings Photograph
We set up for our final Parley Manor wedding photo of the night in the empty flower gardens. Kieron knew we had the Lord of the Rings elven script loaded into our night wand. Again, the happy couple were pleased to join us for a quiet break and some fresh air.
We left Parley Manor, our hearts and cameras full. We were sure the wedding party would end the night with their dancing.
