RNLI College wedding photographs with Kate and Matthew
It was easy to spot the house in which Kate would be getting ready for her RNLI College wedding photographs. On this warm summer’s morning her neighbours had decorated the outside of the houses with bunting and potted flowers. In the past we have shot images for an RNLI documentary, engagement photographs in the RNLI lifeboat station in Swanage and a wedding donating gifts to the RNLI. It was a great please to shoot RNLI College wedding photographs. Inside we found Kate and her bridesmaids and flower girls preparing for the day. Mum was also on hand with bubbles as the flowers arrived from Carnnival Flowers . Bouquets of Orange Roses and Gerbera daisies mixed in with bright green leaves.
Bridal Preparation Photographs on Wedding Morning
A heart felt letter from her husband to be sat on the side designed with one of the images from the couples Swanage engagement photographs. In the bright sun filled conservatory hair and make up were being styled as Katie’s flower girl helped the girls with whatever she could.
The bridesmaids hadn’t stopped laughing all morning and as they donned their turquoise bridesmaids dresses upstairs the volume was increased somewhat.
Katie seemed exceptionally calm, probably thanks to several hugs from her fluffy pet cat Socks. Once Katie’s super smart page boy had arrived it was time for her to don her wedding dress. Kate was kept cool of body and mind thanks to a bridesmaid with desk fan.
Outside the VW vans had drawn the attention of the neighbours who had gathered to see the bridesmaids, Kate and her parents off.
Groom Preparation Photographs on Wedding Morning
I found the guys readying for the RNLI college wedding just a short distance up the road at Matthew’s parent’s house . On returning from the barbers the guys enjoyed bacon rolls in the garden and Matthew gave his groomsmen all presents of hip flasks and something to go in them. Matthew looked a little tentative about the day ahead.
All fed and gifts given it was time for them to get wedding ready. Very quickly they were suited and booted. The groomsmen wore wedding suits with green cravats and matching pocket squares. In contrast Matthew wore an orange cravat and matching pocket square. Before they knew it the wedding transport had arrived, Lulu the Volkswagen van driven by Dorset Dub Hire’s very own Jason. Recognizing that there was a bit of nervousness in the air he quickly offered the guys a drink while they admired the vintage VW. After a final check the guys boarded the van and set of for St Michael’s church in Hamworthy. Once they had been dropped off it left to collect the bridesmaids.
Poole Church Wedding Ceremony Photographs
Matthew and his groomsmen busied themselves greeting guests and making sure everyone had orders of service. Slowly the guests took their places and Matthew took his at the front.
Kate arrived in the second of Dorset Dub hire’s VW vans with her father. They joined the bridesmaids, flower girl and page boy (who’s outfit was completed with a ring security box). It was the page and flower girl who led them in. Kate with her father and then followed by the bridesmaids.
During the ceremony two readings were given before Kate and Matthew exchanged rings and vows and thus were married. The guests gathered outside the church in the sunshine and showered them with confetti as they exited . Lillie the ivory VW camper then took the newly-weds a short distance to Upton Country Park for some photos. After which delivering them to the RLNI collage which would be the venue for their wedding reception.
RNLI College Wedding Photographs or Drinks Reception
When the happy couple arrived at their RNLI College wedding reception guests were enjoying drinks on the water front terrace. At the top of the building was the wedding suite was set for the wedding breakfast. A beautiful, light and airy room located on the second floor, the Harbour View Suite is a very special room with grand sweeping views of Holes Bay in Poole Harbour. The perfect location for RNLI College wedding photographs.
Alongside the table decorations were postcards of beaches within wooden boxes of sand ( hand made by the groom). Cacti with place names made for unusual wedding favours. Strelitzia ‘Bird of Paradise‘ flowers stood at the center of each table with an arrangement of orange Gerbera on the top table. After cold drinks in the hot sun guests were invited up into the cool airy Harbour view suite. They were asked to take their places so that the new Mr and Mrs could be welcomed in.Â
Kate’s father kicked off the speeches with kind words about his daughter and welcomed Matthew into the family. Matthew took center stage and gave words of thanks to everyone who had come, not forgetting to refer to his new wife on several occasions. This of course resulted in whooping and applause from the guests. Finishing things off was the best man. He incited laughter at Matthew’s expense before finishing with a rude note from an absent friend.
RNLI College Wedding Photographs Reception
Wedding breakfast complete ,everyone returned to the waterside terrace to catch the early evening sun. In the Waterfront Suite sat an incredible four tier cake from Angel cakes decorated with Strelitzia flowers and hand painted flower detailing. Next to the cake was some wooden steps (handmade by the groom) for housing the jars of penny sweets.
The cake was cut after which the happy couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. 3D Entertainment supplied the soundtrack and soon the dance floor filled up. We finished taking RNLI College wedding photographs as the sun set on this special day across the harbour and the sound of the disco echoed into the night.
