An Unforgettable Wedding Day At Lulworth Castle

With all of the chaos of Covid there was a set of very special Lulworth Castle wedding photographs that never made it to our blog. This is the story of Alex and Reece’s wedding day.

You may remember Alex and Reece from the Osmington Mills engagement photo shoot. Since then, Covid had gotten in the way, rescheduling the date three times. During this time we received the gut-wrenching news that Alex was fighting cancer.

The Lulworth Castle Weddings team were amazing. They found available dates for a November wedding. The best news? Alex had beaten cancer and was improving daily! – so much happiness and emotion even before their big day.

Join us as we explore the magical wedding of Alex and Reece at Lulworth Castle. It was a day of love, joy, and unforgettable moments.

Bridal Preparations at The Lindens

A Morning of Anticipation and Joy

The morning began at The Lindens, on the Lulworth estate. Excitement was palpable. Exquisite floral wedding bouquets from Tulip and Cactus Florist set the scene for a day of elegance.

The bridal party, in matching Georgina Keely gowns, buzzed with excitement as they got ready for the big day.

Lou James worked her magic with the wedding makeup. Bethany Pring crafted stunning wedding hairstyles. Together, they made everyone look their best.

With her mother and sister’s help, Alex slipped into her wedding dress. It was a Martina Linara from Minster Bridal. She wore Rainbow wedding shoes. Seeing Alex in her gown brought tears and cheers from her bridesmaids and father. It was a beautiful start to the celebrations.

Meanwhile, Murray had joined Reece and the chaps. As he got ready in Lulworth village, Reece felt a mix of camaraderie and excitement. The groomsmen, in charge of logistics, ensured everything ran smoothly. They organised the flower deliveries and coordinated with the venue.

As Reece donned his suit, the anticipation grew, culminating in an emotional journey to Lulworth Castle. The groomsmen, in high spirits, accompanied him in the wedding car, setting the tone for a day filled with laughter and love.

The couple exchanged vows in the castle’s historic walls. They created memories that would last a lifetime.

The love and joy between Alex and Reece were palpable. They stood, surrounded by family and friends, who had gathered to witness their union. The ceremony was a testament to their resilience and love. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together.
