A Blending of Cultures with Mariana & Stuart’s Rhinefield House Wedding
Originally rain was forecast looked scary. Rain loomed for Mariana and Stuart’s Highcliffe Castle and Rhinefield House wedding photographs. We rarely work at two such prestigious wedding venues in a single day. We were ecstatic to see the bright sun beaming down on us on their wedding morning.
After dropping Murray off in Bournemouth I set out to a ‘picture-postcard’ thatched cottage in the New Forest. Nothing could have prepared me for what lay in store. Inside the ancient building was a loud, bright, Mexican blur of coral-coloured morning preparations. The Rhinefield House wedding day preparations were certainly underway. As hip hop boomed from the kitchen speakers Elke from Amazing Face (one of our recommended wedding suppliers) worked her magic on the bridesmaid’s hair.
The scene was a great example of the cultural blending of the day ahead. The fast paced Mexican chatter and laughter reminded me of time spent travelling in South America. The countryside house, gardens and wedding flowers took me back into a very British history.
The bridesmaids looked stunning in their coral bridesmaid dresses. Makeup and perfume were then applied. Mariana’s wonderful deep sweetheart neckline mermaid wedding dress hung in an upstairs bedroom. A pair of beautiful
Manolo Blahnik wedding shoes also sparkled in the natural morning light. In the blink of an eye, Mariana went from beautiful to drop-dead gorgeous. As she donned her couture mermaid wedding dress.
Outside a 1928 Cadillac LaSalle from Superior Wedding Cars purred into the driveway. The girls toasted their wedding morning with shots of tequila. After some emotional hugging, they departed for Highcliffe Castle wedding venue.
Groom Preparation For A Rhinefield House Wedding
Meanwhile Murray arrived at the luxury historic apartments at Burlington Mansions in Bournemouth. He found Stuart and his groomsmen busying themselves.
Stuart was busily organising everybody. He made sure everyone knew their wedding morning roles. He then ensured that all their heads of hair were correctly styled!
Talking of style, Stuart paid tribute to both Mexican and British families. He donned ‘Day of the Dead’ inspired skull cufflinks and all the chaps wore Union Jack socks.
Once suitable transformed the chaps set off in an Audi/Mercedes convoy. All headed for Highcliffe Castle. Stuart drove the Mercedes and was also in control of the soundtrack. Murray was sure the he heard him singing along!
Highcliffe Castle Wedding Ceremony Photographs
They arrived to see the beautifully decorated Wintergarden wedding ceremony room. Concept Flowers had performed and amazing job. They added soft pastel colourings to the room, with an aisle covered in a carpet of petals.
Stuart and his groomsmen fixed their button holes. As Stuart was speaking to the registrar the groomsmen busied themselves. Dutuifully welcoming guests and issuing the orders of service.
Luis Carlos (the brides little brother) had been issued with a Polaroid camera. He was quickly in action capturing images of his sister’s big day.
First to arrive were the gorgeous bridesmaids in their coral dresses. They walked together up the drive before posing for a picture from Luis Carlos. Like a scene from a classical English film, Mariana arrived outside the stately home in her classic wedding car. Polished paint and chrome gleamed in the bright sunshine.
The little page-boy carried the rings on a pillow up the aisle, followed by bridesmaids. With tears in their eyes, Mariana was escorted down the aisle by her mother.
The wonderfully bright wedding ceremony saw two heartfelt readings followed by quite a few tears of joy (mainly from Stuart).
As the now-married couple embraced for their first kiss the guests erupted into loud applause. The happy couple led their guests outside into the sun. Once they had been congratulated by the guests we had time for a few group photographs on the stone staircase.
Highcliffe Beach Wedding Photographs in Dorset
As the guests made their way to Rhinefield house, we took the happy couple on a stroll through the woodland and down to Highcliffe Beach.
With ten minutes to relax the well-dressed couple looked like movie stars as they walked across the beach in the bright sunshine.
Back in the cool shade of the woodland surrounding Highcliffe Castle Mariana and Stuart enjoyed a glass of champagne. They then prepared for their Rhinefield House wedding photographs in The New Forest.
Rhinefield House Wedding Reception Photographs
Arriving at Rhinefield House wedding venue the happy couple joined their guests on the lawns. Welcome drinks, canapés, and lawn games were all on offer. The guest’s happy laughter and music from
The Coasters wedding band echoed about the grounds
We love creating Rhinefield House wedding photographs, especially in the beautiful gardens. Outside, in the sun was the perfect location for some group and couple photographs. Mariana and Stuart were then showered with confetti by their guests. In a surprise shoeless power leap, Mariana’s Auntie caught the bouquet as it was thrown to the girls.
Inside the Grand Hall was decorated to jaw-dropping standards. A 3-tier – 9 level (!) naked sponge cake stood proud. It was decorated with pink, orange, and yellow flowers and topped with fruits. The same flowers stood high in table centerpieces. Table names were coordinates corresponding to a setting map. Each place setting had a gold photo frame with a name inside it. The pinks, yellows, and gold of decorations, gifts, and flowers really added some colour and light to the dark wooden room. A perfect addition to the Rhinefield House wedding photographs.
Rhinefield House Wedding Breakfast Photographs
The traditional receiving line was formed to welcome the guests. They were invited to find their seats from the map of the world table plan (created by Stuart himself!).
Next, Mariana and Stuart entered to a standing ovation. Whistles and cheers from their guests echoed. They then all enourmously enjoyed the tasty food of a Rhinefield House wedding breakfast.
The Chief Bridesmaid and Mother of the bride made moving speeches. They were soon followed by the groom’s speech, which had been meticulously planned. Stuart even included photos of the happy couple at each of the table number map co-ordinates. The double-act best man’s speech used many hilarious slides as visual aids. With one best man unable to hold back the tears they showed the various sides to Stuart. His many hairstyles over the years impressed all!
After the ‘cutting of the cake’ guests were invited to join the bride and groom for tequila shots on the lawn.
Rhinefield House Wedding Evening and Dancing Photographs
Mariana and Stuart snuck away to practice their first dance in the gardens while the guests enjoyed drinks in the evening sunshine. Party Dexx wedding DJ had set up in the King’s Room. Mariana and Stuart even had a final practice behind closed doors. We anticipated that dancing would feature heavily in their Rhinefield House wedding photographs.
All of the guests gathered around the dance floor to Mariana & Stuart’s first dance as a married couple. With the practised choreography they absolutely nailed it.
They were soon were joined by the wowed guests on the dance floor in full party mode. As the photo booth opened items of fancy dress spilled out onto the dance floor. This made for some interesting portraits.
To compete the happy couple’s Rhinefield House wedding photographs we stole them away to the spectacular Alhambra room. Surrounded by jewels, gold, and Arabic scripture we said our goodbyes.
It was such an incredible wedding day for such an incredible couple.
