We always look forward to capturing Italian Villa documentary wedding photos. The almost endless locations within the Villa and Compton Acres are stunning.
Bridal Preparation Photos
We began the day with Edie and her bride squad at Harmans Cross near Corfe Castle. There was a buzz of activity as the girls prepared for Edie and Ashley’s big day. With six bridesmaids there was a lot of hair and makeup to be styled. Outside waiting to escort the bridal party were Dorset Dub Hire‘s campervan ‘Lulu’ and 1965 Beetle ‘Lilah’. Both were decorated with wedding flowers of their own.
Wedding Photos of Groom Preparation
Meanwhile, the gents were gathered at a hotel a short distance from the wedding venue. Surprise transport (arranged by the mother of the groom) was parked outside. A white stretched limo from Travel in Style Limos awaited to whisk the groom’s party to the Italian Villa. The guys arrived at the villa and enjoyed a drink in the Italian garden They greeted guests in the sunshine as we captured Italian Villa documentary wedding photos.
Italian Villa Documentary Wedding Photos of Civil Ceremony
An announcement was made that the bridal party were soon to arrive. Guests were asked to start to make their way up to the Verona Suite for the ceremony. With the guests in place, Ashley took his place in front of an amazing flower arch from Simply Flower.
Edie was escorted down the aisle by her mother. Here her hand in marriage was given to Ashley. The couple made their promises to each other, exchanged rings, and were married. The light and atmosphere of the venue made for some stunning, natural Italian Villa documentary wedding photos.
After sealing it with a first kiss and taking care of the paperwork they came down the aisle as a married couple. The guests gathered in the garden armed with confetti that was launched as the newlyweds came out of the villa. After a number of group photos we took the happy couple for a walk around the gardens. We returned them in time to enjoy a drink before heading inside to the wedding breakfast supplied by Beales Gourmet Catering.
Wedding Photos of Speeches and Evening Reception
Speeches were given by both of Edie’s parents followed by the father of the groom and them the groom himself. Best men Martin and James delivered a speech together using visuals (mainly bad photos of Ashley) projected onto a screen. This speech got the most laughs but was also full of praise and kind messages for the newlyweds.
Best man Martin Rees who has two Guinness records and performed some magic to wrap up the speeches. In our years of creating Italian Villa documentary wedding photos we have never seen anyone shrink the happy couple’s heads before!
Verity’s Creative Cakes had created an upside-down hanging cake decorated with pink flowers. After this was cut everyone reconvened downstairs ready for the first dance.
After the first dance, everyone was on the dance floor or posing in the photo booth. Next, we took just new Mr and Mrs, groomsmen and bridesmaids with sparklers for some after-dark Italian Villa documentary wedding photos.
