Bridal preparation from Highcliffe Castle Wedding Photographs
We both arrived at Louise and Steven’s on the morning of these Highcliffe Castle wedding photographs. We were greeted by the beautiful wedding dress hanging from the upstairs balcony in the hallway. Louise and the girls were in great form, so relaxed and jovial. Upstairs in the master bedroom a mirrored wardrobe provided assistance for make up application and general preparations. The ladies looked the part in matching night shirts and hair curlers.
Assisting with the wedding morning activities Louise and Steve’s children merrily whizzed about the house. They fetched, delivered and helping where ever they could.
The stunning purple and white wedding flowers arrived along with hair and make-up artists extraordinaire. Downstairs the kitchen was quickly converted into a hair salon. Jenny D hair and makeup worked her magic, all under the watchful eye of the family dog.
Before they knew it Louise and the girls were donning their stunning dresses. Looking jaw-droppingly beautiful they left into the bright sunlight for Highcliffe Castle wedding venue.
Groom Preparation On Wedding Morning
I met the gents at Posh Togs in Winton and grabbed a picture of them in their wedding attire before I headed off to Highcliffe Castle to wait for their arrival.
Wedding Ceremony At Highcliffe Castle
Guests had been gathering in the immaculately groomed gardens of Highcliffe Castle in Dorset. Once the groom arrived they made their way into the Winter Garden for the civil ceremony. After he met with the registrars Steve greeted some of his guests before taking his place at the front of the room. Louise arrived in a vintage style 4 seater Badsworth wedding car from RK prestige wedding car hire accompanied by her brother. The registrars came out to meet her and complete their paperwork. The car was then driven around to the entrance of the Winter Garden. Here, she found her flower girl, page boys, and maid of honour who led her up the aisle.
After a wonderful civil ceremony in the bright light of the winter garden, the newlyweds invited their guests outside to enjoy bubbles on the lawn.
After several group photographs on the steps, the happy couple were called inside to check the dining room which had been decorated by Beautifully Seated before opening it to their guests. The wedding cake created by Love a Cake stood tall at the side of the room with a tower of cheese on the opposite side supplied by Cheesy Moments.
Wedding Breakfast at Highcliffe Castle Wedding Photographs
The guests took their places and the bride and groom were announced as they entered the room. A three-course meal was enjoyed by everyone supplied by Alfresco Catering. While the wedding breakfast was eaten the drawing-room was being set up for the evening entertainment. A white dance floor with led lights was in the middle of the room supplied by Castle Marquees. One side of it was the DJ rig from DJ Elevation Mobile Discos which also featured LEDs. On the opposite side illuminated LOVE Letters from Sugar Rush Event Hire.
Wedding Speeches In A Dorset Castle
It was time for the wedding speeches. The Maid of honour kicked things off with a heartfelt speech about her best friend and boss, followed by some short and sweet words from the groom and a final speech about the bride. Louise then distributed gifts for members of the bridal party and loved ones. It was then time to cut the cake if fact both cakes, the savoury tower of cheese and the glass flute-decorated wedding cake.
First dance and Evening Entertainment at Highcliffe Castle
With the cakes cut it was time for the first dance. Guests spilled into the drawing room and stood around the dance floor. After having the dance floor to themselves, guests young and old joined the happy couple. In the bar area, a magic mirror photo booth had been set up by Photo Booth Parties.
