Chewton Glen Wedding Morning Photographs
You may remember Tiana and Matt’s New Forest engagement photo shoot near Rhinefield house wedding venue. Well for their wedding day, they had chosen some other particularly stunning locations. Including Chewton Glen wedding venue. Even as experienced Dorset wedding photographers this luxury venue takes our breath away.
Chewton Glen Wedding Venue Bridal Preparation Photographs
High up in the tree house I arrived during the Chewton Glen wedding preparations The hair stylist and makeup artist were using the floor-to-ceiling mirrors while they expertly worked their craft. Tiana’s family and bridesmaids alternated between wedding preparations and enjoying their surroundings. Tiana’s nephew was therfore in and out of the hot tub for most of the morning.
As the wedding morning progressed I particularly captured the mood and moments. I also enjoyed using the mass of natural light, accessible angles, and reflective surfaces. Next, I even helped lace Tiana’s bridesmaids into their deep blue dresses. They, in turn, helped Tiana into her stunning wedding gown.
Against the backdrop of the tree house and the wooded valley at Chewton Glen wedding details were abundant. In these ethereal surroundings, I realised that Tiana now looked unquestionably like a fairy tale princess.
Wonderful wedding flowers from Simply Flowers then arrived. The whites, creams, and blues coordinated especially well with the wedding’s blue key colour scheme.
Next, Daisy, Christchurch wedding cars hand-built Branford Classic Landaulette arrived. It then transported the girls from their secluded hideaway to the grandeur of Highcliffe Castle wedding venue in Dorset.
Meanwhile, Matt and the chaps were super busy over at Burgate Manor Farm. Ties were adjusted, hair straightened and button holes finally pinned. All under the particuarly watchful eye of Matt’s grandmother.
Highcliffe Castle Wedding Ceremony Photographs
This gorgeous wedding venue had been beautifully dressed the blues first seen during the Chewton Glen wedding morning had arrived. Ivory chair covers with blue sashes and the blue wedding flowers mixed beautifully.
Inside the classically grand space we were then treated to a heart-warming ceremony. It was full of light and laughter with readings from family and friends. The now ecstatically happy newly weds walked back down the aisle. Guests then supplied applauds and enjoyed their drinks reception in the sun-baked gardens.
Highcliffe Castle Wedding Couple Beach Photographs
While the guests drank and joked in the sun we took a gentle stroll with Matt and Tiana. We next walked down through the grounds for some beach wedding photographs. It’s obviously pretty rare for a day beginning at Chewton Glen wedding venue feature sandy beach photos.
Returning to Highcliffe Castle the wedding party was also cooling themselves in the shade. The impressive 17th-century castle’s walls sheltered them from the sun. Clearly enjoying their day they were then called into wedding breakfast in the Great Hall.

The Great Hall was a remarkable setting for the wedding breakfast. Set against the backdrop of the carved stone walls and the 30ft high Stained Glass Jessie window. Merlins Catering then supplied a mouth-watering three course meal. After the wedding morning at Chewton Glen wedding venue, we were feeling spoilt. The top table looked particularly regal during the hilarious wedding speeches. Cakes by Nikki had created a wonderful personalised wedding cake. It even included Tiana and Matt’s dogs, identically replicatedin icing!
First Dance Photographs at Highcliffe Castle
Next, in the landscaped gardens the wedding party enjoyed drinks with the coastal views. The DJ from Choice DJ had earlier set up in the drawing room. Tiana and Matt then gracefully swept about the dance floor for their first dance. They were surrounded by curtains of fairy lights and their friends and family. The moment was certainly a spectical to behold.
Finally, we left the guests merrily alternating between dancing. They visited the irresistible sweet cart and then recharged on the cool grass of the gardens.
