Canford School Wedding Photographs of Bridal Preparations
We had been looking forward to creating these Canford School wedding photographs since meeting up with Hayley and Steven for their engagement photo shoot.
We arrived at Hayley’s parents’ house to fine a very calm bride to be going about her preparations for the day. After a short time bridesmaids, flower girls had joined in the prep. The stunning wedding flowers had arrived from Carnival Flowers. As the morning passed the smile on Hayley’s face grew wider. The bridesmaids looked wonderful in pale mint green dresses and flower girls in white with matching mint sashes.
Time seemed to fly and before she knew it Hayley descended the stairs in her wedding dress. She was greeted by her extremely proud father, looking dapper in his full wedding attire.

Meanwhile, back at Hayley and Steven’s home the gents were also preparing. Steven was blown away with his gift from his wife to be, a stunning Breitling Navitimer watch. He carefully set it to the correct time he and his groomsmen readied themselves. They wore traditional wedding suits with top hats and tailed jackets.
Steven’s brother was driver for the day, with his Bentley taking them to the pub for a quick drink. Here, Steven gave gifts of Leatherman multi tools with the wedding date engraved on the blade. Refreshed with beer and Leathermans pocketed they all headed to the 14th century Norman church wedding venue.

With the groomsmen on car park duty Steven and his best man stood outside the church greeting guests as they arrived at Canford Mangna Parish Church. As the guests waited they enjoyed music from string quartet A Touch of Class.
Steven took his place at the front. First to arrive from the bridal party were the bridesmaids and flower girls shortly followed by Hayley and her father. After a short pause in the entrance Hayley and her father were lead in by the flower girls and bridesmaids.
After a reading, the happy couple made their promises to one another. Grinning from ear to ear they exchanged rings and were married. There was much cheering from the guests. While they took care of the paperwork everyone again enjoyed music from the string quartet.
Once leaving the church the guests showered them with confetti. Next they made the short journey to Canford School’s Grade 1 listed Manor House for the wedding reception.
Canford School Wedding Photographs Reception
With an unseasonal downpour the wedding drinks reception was held in the Long Gallery where the string quartet again entertained. The newly-weds cut their wedding cake before heading into the baronial Great Hall for wedding breakfast.
Wedding Breakfast At Canford School
After enjoying a meal cooked by the in house Michelin-trained chefs the guests were treated to wedding speeches. The father of the bride, groom, best man and one of the ushers caused many a laugh and tear. The guests were invited to enjoy coffee cake and more drinks while part of the room was turned around for the evening entertainment.
This was provided by the one and only Iggy Wedding DJ (one of our recommended Dorset DJ wedding suppliers) who supervised the laying of the white LED dance floor in preparation for the first dance. We used this time and a break in the weather to capture some group photographs outside.

First Dance And Wedding Disco Photos
We returned the happy couple to the great hall for their first dance as a married couple. They took to the dance floor alone and after confetti cannons had been fired into the air above them guests were invited to join them. Wood fired pizzas were provided from Flame Baked Pizza outside in the courtyard. The whole day had been expertly captured by wedding videographers Zach and Grace.
