Bridal Preparation Photographs in Dorset
Tom arrived to find Hannah and her bridesmaids in a calm collected mood having their wedding hair styled. Local make up artist Cat Mutter worked her expert wedding makeup magic. The house was a hive of activity. Everyone was busy readying for the Wareham Rugby Club Wedding, even Darren’s dog Molly had a blue bow tied onto her collar.
Hannah had earrings with matching necklace wonderfully complementing her hand-made wedding dress with lace detailing. The Prosecco was flowing and there was time for some photos in the sunny garden before the bouquets and buttonholes arrived from Wildberry Flowers of Wareham. Family and friends arrived before Hannah donned her dress, looking stunningly beautiful.
Groom Wedding Morning Photographs in Dorset
I arrived at Globe close to find both Darren and his best man Barry already in their Military Uniforms. They took turns to use the lint roller to ensure that they looked perfect for the Wareham Rugby Club wedding day ahead. A short walk in the morning sun took us to The Globe Inn to enjoy a refreshing drink and greet the gathering guests. Barry returned from the bar with a tray of port to toast Darren and Hannah in the pub garden.
Darren and his Best Man made their way back up the road to St Mark’s church where they were warmly greeted by the vicar. After chatting with a few guests they took their place at the front of the church and awaited the arrival of the bridal party.
Church Wedding Ceremony Photographs in Swanage
Hannah arrived in a stunning black and white Classic Humber wedding car supplied by Purbeck Wedding Car hire. Hannah paused at the church doorway to gather herself and veil her face. She and her father and led the way into the church, followed by bridesmaids and page boys.
The wonderfully light hearted wedding ceremony then saw two readings from friends and a musical performance from one of the bridesmaids and her boyfriend. With huge smiles on their faces and a standing ovation Darren and Hannah walked down the aisle as husband and wife. Guests gathered just outside of the church and provided a shower of confetti as the happy couple made their way towards the wedding car. They made a short stop outside their home which had been decorated with signs and ribbons by well-wishers. The wedding car then set off for Swanage’s Victorian Pier.
Swanage Pier Documentary Wedding Photographs
The newly weds went for a short stroll on the pier, admiring the gorgeous sea views. Hannah held onto her veil as the wind tried to blow it into the sea! They had time to have some more pictures by the huge columns that adorn the steps leading to the amphitheatre in Prince Albert Gardens.
Wareham Rugby Club Wedding Photos by one thousand words
Once back in the wedding car they set off for their Swanage and Wareham Rugby Club wedding reception. Debbie from Perfectly Pretty Weddings had performed noting short of a miracle with the beautiful wedding decorations. There hung more bunting than I think than we have probably ever seen at a wedding reception. Wedding favours ranged from sticks of Swanage rock to packs of Dorset fudge. Two cakes sat on the corner table, a simple white three-tiered wedding cake and a naked three-tiered cake. The decorations of berries, flowers and a cake topper of Hannah and Darren in military uniform next to Molly then finished it off.
The Salt Pig served wedding canapés on planks of wood. Outside, James expertly cooked food on a BBQ Grill. The incredible smell drifted out over the playing fields and must have had the neighbours salivating into the wind!
The wedding couple then arrived and had a chance to sample the canapés and enjoy a drink. We gathered everyone under the rugby posts for group photographs.
Wareham Rugby Club Wedding Breakfast
The call to wedding breakfast went out and guests were welcomed into the main room. Hannah’s brother announced the wedding party into the room like boxers into the ring, all were then received with applause.
In between courses some guests took time out outside in the sunshine to kick a rugby ball around. After every one had enjoyed the amazing food some guests then entertained themselves with the lawn games outside. The best man, bride and a number of guests enjoyed a Jayger Bomb before speeches. Then tears flowed and the sound of laughter echoed around the club house. No more than during Barry’s Best Man’s Speech.

Next The Reptiles band started pumping out classic Rock and Pop tunes. Before first dance we couldn’t stop the bride and groom riding a tandem bicycle outside.
Shortly it was time to cut the wedding cake and dance the first dance. While their nearest and dearest looked on Darren and Hannah swirled about the dance floor in embrace. Finally, the dance floor was pretty much full as the wedding guests rocked the night away.
