Seaside Theme Wedding Photographs of Bridal Preparation
Twas a windy morning at the Sandbanks Hotel when we arrived to create some seaside theme wedding photographs. The air was clear, with a crispness that you only get the morning after a thunderstorm. We found Danielle, her five bridesmaids and mother in a hive of activity getting hair and make up done. The relaxed and jovial mood was in contrast to the speed at which they were readying themselves. The five blue bridesmaid dresses hung on a wardrobe with customized name hangers. Danielle’s dress hung the other side of the room, a beautiful white dress with jewel detailed belt. Hair and make up complete the girls got into their dresses then helped Danielle with hers.

Groom Preparation at Seaside Wedding Venue
The grooms room was located at the other end of the hotel, inside the gents matching shirts and waistcoats hanging in the window. Laid out on the floor were gifts for each of his best men/ushers including cuff links and boxers. Once all dressed in wedding attire they enjoyed a swift drink together before heading down stairs. Andy, his best men and ushers added some final details that we were able to capture in these seaside theme wedding photographs.
Photographs of Seaside Theme Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was to take place on the sun terrace overlooking the beach. The decor was beach styled and the guests invited to wear blue and white leis around their necks. The civil ceremony was conducted outside with a slight sea breeze blowing across the terrace. After the happy couple had made their promises to each other they filled a glass fronted box with blue and yellow sand to illustrate their union. Drinks were then enjoyed on the terrace before we invited the bride and groom down onto the beach. From above on the terrace their guests showered Andy & Danielle with small beach balls. A spin on traditional confetti.
Wedding Breakfast at Sandbanks Hotel Wedding Venue
Continuing with the beach theme the tables had been decorated with sand filled lanterns and bottles with beach theme cocktail table names. Simple Blue and white table runners teamed with smaller details such at chocolate shells, starfish and anchors completing the look. The wedding party and guests enjoyed a barbecue style meal. Scrumptious ice cream from Brock Ice was then served on the sun terrace. Danielle’s father started the speeches off followed shortly by Daniele herself with a message for her new husband via a projected video which brought him to tears. Andy gathered himself to deliver his speech and was followed by his Stepfather and best man who also reduced a number of guests to tears of laughter.
Evening Entertainment at Seaside Wedding Venue
The Supers wedding band provided the evening entertainment. Once they had set up the wedding the couple had a chance to practice their first dance behind closed doors. Guests were welcomed into the compass suite and the cake cutting was announced. The happy couple then surprised their guests with a well rehearsed first dance. They swirled, turned and shimmied about the dance floor, family and friends applauding loudly.
