Sandbanks Hotel Engagement Photographs with Rachel & Andre
Our latest Sandbanks Hotel engagement photographs recently took place on a cold, wet and windy evening in Sandbanks, Poole.
Rachel and Andre have booked Harbour Heights Hotel for their wedding day. They wanted to feature some of the landscape seen from the hotel in their photographs. We met for their engagement photographs. The weather, however has always been better when we shoot weddings at Harbour Heights or Sandbanks Hotels.
Fortunately Rachel and Andre are a confident couple when it comes to having their photographs taken. They were happy with the adverse weather conditions for their Sandbanks Hotel engagement photographs. Sometimes the cold and the wind can actually be a helping factor in relaxing couples. It tends to take one’s mind off the camera. However Rachel and Andre were certainly not camera-shy.
After talking through their wedding plans I loved Rachel’s enthusiasm for their big day. In particular her love of natural wedding photography. At these Sandbanks Hotel engagement photographs we bounced ideas off each other for 30 minutes. She had almost as many suggestions for images that she loves as I could think of!
Andre, on the other hand seemed to be relaxed about the photography. He simply let Rachel guide him. Which, as you can see, overlooking Poole Harbour worked perfectly.
Engagement Photographs on a Dorset Beach
We tried out a couple of photographic compositional ideas which worked really well. I am hoping to bounce more ideas about with Rachel before the big day. She not only loves our documentary style but also our openness to experimental wedding photography. Perfect for their Sandbanks Hotel engagement photographs.
We popped back over the road to warm. Then shot some more Sandbanks Hotel engagement photographs. We can’t wait to photograph their big day.
