Salterns Hotel Wedding Photographs in Poole with Mary & Tim
After our last wedding at the bride and grooms home this weekend we joined Mary and Tim for their Salterns Hotel Wedding day in Poole, Dorset. Morning preparations at home in Westbourne, Bournemouth. Mary had her wedding hair and makeup styled. She then descending her stairs in her stunning wedding dress and chic tiara. She was the belle of her own ball!
Poole Guildhall Wedding Ceremony Photographs
We love shooting at Poole Guildhall wedding ceremonies. Especially when the sun is shining in a bright blue sky. It is a spectacular venue for a civil wedding ceremony. The curved staircases lend a symmetrical perspective to group photographs rarely seen in a wedding venue.
Tim was in such a good mood that he didn’t stop smiling all day. Never as much as the moment he turned to see Mary walking gracefully down the aisle to be by his side.
After a little basking in the sun and some group photographs the guests left for the Salterns Hotel wedding reception. Mary and Tim’s guests then relaxed into the drinks reception with the stunning view across Salterns Marina and Poole Harbour. Next Mary and Tim took a quiet walk through the pleasure boats across the Marina.
Typically the ‘couple shots’ are the first time that a bride and groom have been alone together to relax on their wedding day. Salterns Hotel Wedding venue offers a bench overlooking Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour and the Purbeck Hills in the distance.
Wedding Breakfast Photographs
Back inside Salterns Hotel wedding breakfast was called. As it was also Tim’s 50th birthday balloons and a surprise birthday cake preceded the heartfelt yet hilarious speeches.
The wedding cake stood proud in the dining room. It fitted in beautifully with the ivory and blue theme at this Salterns Hotel wedding. After the wedding breakfast was enjoyed by all Mary and Tim took to the dance floor, setting the standard for the rest of the evenings dancing.
