Moor Park Golf Club Wedding Photographs
In December last year, we returned from taking photographs in the hot sun of Hong Kong and Australia. We drove to Dorset to pick up our camera equipment and headed to Moor Park Golf Club wedding venue in Watford.
With all of the travelling we do, I’m quite used to combating the jet lag. We were back on form when we met up with Marcus and Victoria the day before their wedding photographs.

At Victoria’s family home they were just as calm and relaxed as when we met them in November. If you didn’t know you wouldn’t have guessed that their special day at Moor Park Golf Club wedding venue was less than 24 hours away. You wouldn’t have guessed that the wedding (in Victoria’s own words) was “…pretty much all arranged at the last minute”.
Early the next morning we joined Victoria and her bridesmaids in Headmasters in Harrow. The staff had come in early to create four individual styles, tailored to the ladies tastes. As we had never seen so many mirrors in one room before outside of The Man with the Golden Gun. We had a tricky time staying out of reflections of reflections.
The mirrors did, however, allow the girls to get used to us being there. Taking photographs without being intrusive and we captured a collection of stunning natural images.
As we left Headmasters in Harrow, Victoria jokingly said: “Race you back”. Somehow the Sat Nav got us to her family home 15 minutes before they arrived. Relieved that they hadn’t got lost we started to work around the hustle and bustle of a wedding morning. Breakfast eating, dress fixing and makeup styling were photographed using incidental and natural lighting.
The wedding car was sat outside on the drive. A lovely little Nissan Figaro. Perfect for such a fun-loving couple. Once all of the girls were ready Victoria and her father took it for a drive to the church.

The original house was built in 1678 for James, Duke of Monmouth. In 1732, Benjamin Hoskins Styles purchased it. He added magnificent paintings in the Main Hall, Thornhill Room and the Grand wooden Staircase.
Ceremonies at Moor Park Golf Club wedding venue were overseen by Nick Grant Toastmaster. Between him and the staff, absolutely everything ran effortlessly to time. We have worked so many venues with all sizes of wedding. The staff at Moor Park golf club wedding venue come highly recommended (as does the food!).
Nick even helped co-ordinate the group shots which involved quite a bit of running about in the rain. He made sure all of the guests were warm and dry and the three of us sheltering under an umbrella.

Marcus and Victoria had also taken advantage of the ‘balloon drop’ service that Moor Park Golf Club wedding venue provides. Victoria told me it might be more useful for distracting from any bad dancing!
As the graceful couple swirled about the dance floor a shower of orange balloons descended into the room. When mixed with the DJ’s spots and coloured lights this made a visual cocktail I couldn’t resist.
We left the good folks in Moor Park Golf Club wedding venue to dance the night away. With smiles on our faces and hundreds of stunning images in our cameras. A fun-loving wedding for a fun and loving couple.
