Victoria & Lucas’ Italian Villa Wedding Photographs
We have been looking forward to creating Victoria and Lucas’ Italian Villa Wedding Photographs ever since their misty countryside engagement photo shoot. After our last Mediterranean themed wedding at the Italian Villa we couldn’t wait to see how the venue would look with a Hawaiian theme. You can see more of our The Italian Villa Wedding photographs here.
Bridal Preparation Photographs in Corfe Mullen Dorset
We arrived early on the wedding morning at Victoria’s parent’s stunning house in Corfe Mullen. The girl’s wedding preparations were well under way. Upstairs the bridesmaids whizzed about applying makeup.
Victoria was downstairs sitting in the natural light beaming in through the garden doors. She was already breathtakingly beautiful. As Victoria’s hair was styled into curls she looked more like a wedding magazine model than a real bride! In awe Murray Left to find Lucas and the chaps.
Everyone was in high spirits. The bright sun beamed into the house and Victoria started the day as she meant to go on- all smiles and laughter.
In the background her parents were quietly readying themselves, always on hand should anything be needed or anyone get hungry.
Upstairs in a locked room hung Victoria’s gorgeous white wedding dress from Courtyard Bridal. It’s beading and lace detail catching the sun. Overhanging, the veil’s coloured crystals were splitting the bright sunlight into rainbows on the walls. The pastel bridesmaid’s dresses and white flowergirl’s dresses (also from Courtyard Bridal) hung proudly adding yet more colour to the proceedings.
The last stages of wedding hair styling we underway as gypsophila head bands were added, white for Victoria and pink for her bridesmaids. I even found Victoria’s brother hiding away from all of the commotion!
As Victoria was helped into her wedding dress a brand new shiny white Jaguar wedding car from Premier Carriage parked up outside.
Victoria then emerged to the stunned reactions of her bridesmaids – they literally had their breath taken away, she looked amazing.
Multi coloured pastel wedding flowers and a stunning bouquet from Hillview Flowers finished off the look and the car took Victoria and her father to the wedding ceremony.
Groom Preparation Photographs in Poole, Dorset
Meanwhile Murray had joined Lucas and the chaps at St Mary’s Longfleet church. He looked incredibly dapper in a three-piece tan suit. He busied himself greeting guests, had his button-hole added and slowly transitioned from jovial to quietly nervous.
As the groomsmen seated the guests Murray couldn’t help but notice the special touches in the church’s decoration. Strings of fairy lights hung high in the roof and the huge stone supports were lit with purple lights.
Now with a full church Lucas waited aside his best men checking the time and trying to abait his nerves.
St Marys Longfleet Chuch Wedding Ceremony Photographs
He didn’t have that long to stew before Victoria arrived with her father and was led up the aisle by her tiny flower girls and beautiful bridesmaids.
All of Lucas’ nerved were dispelled in the moment he saw his bride’s smiling face walking up the aisle towards him. The happy couple spent the rest of the day grinning and laughing at each other.
Victoria and Lucas then had one of the most uplifting Christian wedding ceremonies we have experienced. A Christian worship band led the singing, the vicar and friends delivered bible readings and a guest preacher spoke.
Evening Hill, Poole Wedding Photographs
The newlyweds left the church into the bright sunlight to greet their guests as a married couple. Next a shower of confetti covered the happy couple before they left in the wedding car.
In the bright sunlight the happy couple spent some time together at Evening Hill, admiring the views over Poole harbour. This gave their guests time to settle in to the next venue before their arrival.
Italian Villa Wedding Photographs Of Drinks Reception
We love creating Italian Villa wedding photographs, the venue is not only breath-taking (especially on bright summer’s days) but the staff are so very friendly, efficient and professional.
The happy couple then arrived at the villa to find their guests enjoying a drinks reception in the hot sun of the Italian Gardens. Flowers added colour to the landscape as their scent mixed with that of the canapés and the Coy in the pool basked in the sun’s rays.
Italian Villa Wedding Photographs of Compton Acres Gardens
Victoria and Lucas took us for a wonder around Compton Acres gardens, which themselves are a thing of beauty. The perfect background for some wedding couple photographs. The happy chatter of their guests mixed with birdsong and echoed about the valley.
Italian Villa Wedding Breakfast Photographs
Guests then headed into the Italian Villa as Wedding Breakfast was called. They found their seats using a Hawaiian themed table plan. This utilised postcard scenes of Hawaii. If you hadn’t guessed by now Victoria & Lucas had a Hawaiian honeymoon planned.
The room was beautifully decorated to reflect the Hawaiian/ pastel theme. Jars of sweets sat at the back of the room while an array of cakes sat opposite the top table. A three-tier white wedding cake showed off a diagonal spray of pastel flowers. A mound of beach themed cup cakes made the guest’s mouths water.
Wedding speeches then proceeded the meal. First Victoria’s Father, then Lucas and his two best men had the audience crying and laughing in equal measure. Victoria’s uncle even went as far as to sing Dolly Paton’s Jolene swapping the name for Torsene!
Beale’s Gourmet catering lived up to their excellent reputation and again supplied a fantastically tasty wedding breakfast, reducing the noise in the room to nothing but satisfied eating sounds.
After the cake cutting we took a few group photographs on the stone staircase overlooking the Italian gardens and the happy couple took a stroll as the sun set.
Evening Reception Photographs at the Italian Villa
Downstairs The Black Sheep Band had set up and sound tested and the bar opened ready for the first dance. Under the low purple lighting Victoria and Lucas swirled about the dance floor applauded on by their friends and family. Before long the more enthusiastic guests joined the boogying.
The black sheep band then took over the entertainment with their ‘Cask Conditioned Folk Rock’. They had the dance floor filled with barn dancing guests. Guests in fancy dress were found wondering about the bar area as the Photo booth from iSmile Booth had opened. In conclusion it was a truly lovely day for a truly lovely couple.
