Since our last gorgeous Harbour Heights Hotel wedding photographs we have been looking forward to Katy and Matthew’s big day.
Harbour Heights Hotel Wedding Photos of Bridal Preparation
We arrived in the morning to find Katy, her mum and bridesmaids going about the business of a wedding morning. Katy’s beautiful lace detailed dress hung in an upstairs window alongside three blue bridesmaid dresses illuminated in the breaking sunlight.
Katy was in a zone of calm, taking in the mornings activities and enjoying the proceedings.
Louise from Loulabelle was on hand help the ladies with hair and makeup and before Katy got into her dress. She had a present from Matt, a gorgeous diamond earrings and necklace set from Why Jewellers. There was another stunning arrival from Simply Flower, bouquets of Pastel Pink and Yellow roses.
Harbour Heights Hotel Wedding Groom Preparation Photos
At Harbour Heights Hotel the team from Simply Flower were busy decorating the Hytes Suite and terrace. Matt had returned from The Groomsman clean-shaven, relaxed and ready for the day ahead. Matt received a gift of Monkey detail cuff links which he immediately added to his outfit. As the guests waited outside on the sun terrace Ruby Miller sang a selection of songs chosen by the wedding couple.

Matt nervously checked his watch as Katy’s bridesmaids waited for her at the front of the hotel. She arrived with her father in a breathtaking Rolls Royce Phantom from RR Elite cars (one of our recommended wedding suppliers). She paused to gather herself and speak with the registrar before being led to the terrace. The guests were treated to an intimate ceremony full of laughter. After which everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace. Katy and Matt were then took their beagles for a short walk down to the harbour with photographs on the dunes. We returned to the hotel and gathered some of the guests for group photos before everyone was called in for the wedding breakfast.
Wedding Photographs of Wedding Breakfast and Speeches
All the guests were in their places and the new Mr and Mrs were announced as they entered the Hytes suite. The whole room including the ceiling had been covered in drapes, which gave the room a marquee feeling. First of all the father of the bride delivered his speech followed in turn by groom and best man. All of the speeches had the guests in fits of laughter with barely a dry eye in the room.
Photos of Evening Entertainment at Harbour Heights Hotel Wedding
Guests enjoyed drinks and took in the sunset view from the terrace while the team from Harbour Heights busied themselves turning the room around in preparation for the evening entertainment. This came in the form of Simon Dorey wedding singer, musician and DJ. Simon made the announcement that the bride and groom were about to cut the cake supplied by Sweetcheeks Bakehouse. The cake, a wonderful three-tiered creation featured a custom topper depicting the bride and groom with their beloved beagles.
Guests gathered round for the cutting the cake before the happy couples first dance. Many of the guests joined them on the dance floor. Viva Las Vegas fun casino set up their black jack table and roulette wheel. As the sun set on a great day at Harbour Heights Hotel we finally left the wedding couple and their guests, dancing, gambling or just having fun with the dress up box and large frame hanging up for the DIY selfie photo booth.
