Elmers Court Hotel Wedding Photographs with Kristy and Adam
You may remember the recent Bournemouth engagement shoot on the beach with Kristy and Adam. We had such fun we could hardly wait for their Elmers Court Hotel wedding day to come along.
They had chosen to have a Romsey Abbey wedding followed by a beautiful reception at Elmers Court Hotel wedding venue.
Elmers Court Hotel Wedding Bridal Preparation Photographs
Our engagement photo shoot had definitely got Kristy used to having a camera with her. Arriving at her family home in Hampshire on the wedding morning I could tell that her relaxed attitude. This had rubbed off on her bridesmaids and family.
In fact the morning preparations, hair and makeup, shoes, flowers, jewellery etc. was all so relaxed. I had to remind myself that it was definitely a wedding day. As the sun was shining brightly the natural light in the house was beautifully diffused by net curtains. It made for some stunning wedding preparation photographs.
A classic ivory vintage Rolls Royce arrived outside. The bridesmaids put on their dark blue dresses and Kristy announced that she was ready to get into her wedding dress. Kristy descended the stairs to applauds from her bridesmaids and father.

Meanwhile the chaps were busy preparing at Elmers Court Hotel wedding venue in the New Forest. You could instantly see why Kristy and Adam had chosen this particular wedding venue. A huge manor house in an isolated location, beautiful gardens and a lawn that swept down to the sea!
After donning suits, button holes and glass of champagne they headed off to Romsey Abbey to ready for the ceremony.
Romsey Abbey Wedding Ceremony Photographs
I found the Bridesmaids patiently waiting outside Romsey Abbey for the wedding car to arrive. Adam and his best man looking a little more nervous waiting on the inside. The abbey itself is a beautifully large wedding venue. It has great access for photographers around the entire building. Such vast size, stunning architecture, high ceilings and gorgeous detail makes it an incredible space to photograph.
The wedding ceremony was one of the less usual religious services we have seen in a while. With a couple of lovely speeches and then a sermon involving the offer of a glass of red!
Sticking to the non-alcoholic option, Kristy and Adam led their guests out into the bright sunshine in the gardens. This gave the couple a chance to chat to their guests and enjoy the sunshine before heading off to their Elmers Court Hotel wedding reception.
The wedding car, equipped with champagne transported the now constantly smiling couple to Elmers Court Hotel wedding venue in Lymington.

The guests enjoyed a drinks reception on the sun terrace and lawns. We caught them admiring the views down to waterways and architecture of this stunning venue.
Elmers Court Hotel Wedding Breakfast Photographs
At Elmers Court Hotel wedding breakfast was held in an amazing dining room. A huge stone fireplace and incredibly high decorative ceiling, the perfect backdrop to capture pictures of the speeches.
There were quite a few jokes and a lot of heartfelt sentiment. Then the best man distributed photographs from Adam’s past amongst the guests. It was pretty much a case of constant belly laughter from then on in.
Adam and Kristy then asked if they could have some unusual photographs of the bridal party. As I mentioned in the engagement shoot they like unusual photographs and locations (under the pier). They love the potential for fun within images so we disappeared down the gardens and into the trees!
Elmers Court Hotel Wedding Evening Reception Photographs
Whilst the dining room was transformed for the Elmers Court Hotel evening reception the sun began to set. The grounds were filled with a warm golden light. So we organised a mass throwing of confetti.
It was shortly time to cut the cake and twirl about the dance floor for the first dance.
The day seemed to rocket past. Kristy and Adam’s infectious fun personalities seemed to rub off on everyone present. As the expression goes “Time flies when you are having fun”. We thoroughly enjoyed creating Kristy and Adams Elmers Court Hotel wedding photographs.
