The Clock Barn Engagement Photographs with Sophie & James
In the recent heat wave I travelled over Hampshire to meet Sophie and James for their Clock Barn engagement photographs.
Instantly upon arriving I could see the visual appeal of this wedding venue. A sweeping driveway cuts through the surrounding countryside leading to a stunning barn.
The conversion of the venue from working barn itself must have taken a lot of thought. At some point I would bet someone was thinking of wedding photographs. Inside there is a bridal prep-room, done out with damask paper and a retro mirror. The huge main room is possible the brightest barn I have ever seen. A separate dance area and lounge. All of which can be sectioned of if so desired!
James and Sophie, although feeling the heat were on great form for their Clock Barn Clock Barn engagement photographs. It is great to sometimes work with a couple who are naturally relaxed in front of the lens.
They are such a fun-loving couple who, despite being together for years come across as still in the ‘honeymoon period’. The wedding ideas aired during these Clock Barn engagement photographs are inspiring.
We were we able to bounce ideas off each other (I’ve been to a few weddings in my time). Sophie and James’ plans made me jealous I wasn’t attending as a guest!
We headed out into the wedding venue gardens. This again seemed to have been designed with wedding photographers in mind. Beautiful flowerbeds inter dispersed with benches and pergolas. Lanterns led to a summer meadow with an old wood and flint horse shed.
